Francois Leconte

Chairman and CEO

Francois Leconte serves as Chairman and CEO of Paramount Broadcasting Communication, LLC since 2006. Mr. Leconte has served as President and CEO of Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc. from 1996 to 2014. Mr. Leconte has been a driving force in raising more than $60,000,000 for Minority Development & Empowerment, Inc. Mr. Leconte forged strong partnership with both private and public sectors in order to bring services to the Minority Community of South Florida.

Mr. Leconte is actively involved in the community, holding many leadership positions, and achievements. He chaired the HIV/AIDS planning Council of Broward County; served on the Board of Leadership Broward; presently serves of the Board of Career Sources of Broward County, and on the Entrepreneurship Council of Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance.

Mr. Leconte is the recipient of many humanitarians’ awards such as: The Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leadership Award 2004, Concern Award of Health Foundation of South Florida 2004, and JM Family African-American Achievers Award 2005 just to name a few

Mr. Leconte graduated from Florida International University School of Economics and He is a graduate of Leadership Florida Class XXV and Leadership Broward Class XIX.
